About Holly

Background

Holly has been an attorney for over ten (10) years. In addition to her law degree from University of Houston Law Center, she also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Economics from Southwest Texas State University (Now Texas State). She is with the firm Waldron & Schneider, L.L.P., a boutique business and bankruptcy law firm that caters to clients from Pasadena and the Bay Area. She is licensed to practice in all Texas State Courts, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas.

Before becoming a lawyer, Holly managed her husband’s chiropractic practice in Pasadena and worked in the banking industry. She continues to assist in the management of the family business. As the daughter of a retired Air Force Colonel Holly had the opportunity to live in many different areas when she was young. For the past twenty years, Holly and her family have called the Bay Area home. Holly is married to Dr. Danny G. Williamson. Their daughter, Mary Kate Williamson, is a senior and honor student at Clear Creek High School and is trying to decide what college she will attend.

Throughout the past twenty years, Holly has treasured the personal time she has been able to spend serving and being involved in community organizations dear to her heart: The Rose; Pasadena Education Foundation - Board Member; Pasadena Rotary Club - Board Member; Pasadena Chamber of Commerce – Chairperson; Deer Park Chamber of Commerce; Bridge Ambassador Board – Past President; San Jacinto Family YMCA – Past Chairman and former board member; Business Development Board, First Community Bank; Sarah’s House; Bay Area Republican Women; San Jacinto Republican Women; and was an adjunct professor of Business Law at San Jacinto College.

As an attorney, Holly volunteers her time professionally as well. In addition to the legal pro bono work she does for individuals, she has served as a volunteer instructor teaching the "Money Wise" program to high school juniors and seniors teaching them about the wise use of money, finances, and credit. Holly is on the Board of Directors of the Houston Bar Association, Bankruptcy Section; a Barrister in The Honorable Arthur L. Moller/David B. Fultz, Jr. AIC Bankruptcy Inns of Court; and is a member of the Pasadena Bar Association and Bay Area Bar Association. With her law firm, she is also active in Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership, The Alliance, Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce and several other area organizations. She has co-chaired and helped organize several continuing education classes and judges forums.

Holly and her family are also active in their church, St Thomas The Apostle Episcopal Church in Nassau Bay, Texas. Holly works hard but also likes to enjoy herself and spend time with her family. She enjoys listening to Danny’s band, going to the beach in Galveston, bike riding together and traveling.

Holly is looking forward to the opportunity to serve as Justice of the Peace for Precinct 8. Her background makes her the most qualified candidate for the position.
